Training Outline
- OSHA 1926.550, ASME B30.5 & B30.10 Regulations & Standards
- Crane Accidents
- Daily / Frequent Crane Inspections
- Mobile Crane Operating Safety
- Mobile Crane Set-up
- Mobile Crane Hand Signals
- Lift Capacity Chart Interpretation (crane specific to yours)
- Load Hook and Wire Rope Inspection
- Wire Rope Identification
- Written Test (crane specific to yours)
- Hands On Practical Operation (crane rodeo)
Class Length
- 1 TO 2 DAYS IN LENGTH
- 1-day class is approx. 8 hr. long, approximately 5 hr. in the classroom and the remainder of the day operating your mobile crane
- 2-day class, same outline only more in-depth on all subjects with more emphasis on load charts. Last day 4+ hr. of crane operation.(Note: All class sizes are restricted to no more than 10 people)
- Cost: P.O.R.
All students will receive a certificate of completion for the type crane/cranes addressed in class.
